This watch was designed specially for sailboard (or windsurfing) regattas. The 10-minute countdown period prior to the starting guri is clearly indicated by a series of discs that gradually change colour, with the last remaining minute displayed by a special dial at right. The countdown mechanism itself is lodged in a patented subassembly, fitted around the quartz movement, thus reducing the timepiece’s power consumption and the thickness of the multicoloured, fluorescent carbon-fibre case. Waterresistant down to 100 m. Note the very handy position of the pushpieces around the 12-o’clock mark. (MEMOSURF)
