Swiss Watch Fair 1972 - BF 209
A fully transparent one-piece case here encloses a major breakthrough in mechanical timekeeping: the world’s first movement made of a synthetic material. This design reveals the workings of the movement, some parts of which are brightly coloured. As this substance needs no lubrication, the watch’s durability is much increased. The transparent case is water-resistant to 3 atmospheres (30 metres). (ASTROLON)
