Watches with digital display Longines LCD (liquid crystal display) has been developped jointly by Longines S. A. , Ebauches S. A. and Texas Instruments Incorporated. The revolution lays in the superior technical advantages of the Longines LCD which enable the digital display of HOURS, MINJUTES, SECONDS AND THE DATE. This digital display is by means of liquid crystals. The heart of this watch is a quartz vibrating at 32’768 Hz.(LONGINES)
