This solid metal, gilt-finished case contains a quartz electronic movement accurate to within about one minute a year. Derived from the marine chronometer displayed last year, it is designed as a desktop clock but, being fitted with an 0-ring watertightness joint, can also be used aboard ship. The inside cover plate can be removed for engraving an inscription, initials, etc. (DERBY SWISSONIC)
