This 100% electronic watch has not one but two novel features : its liquid crystal digital display system is designed for easy interchangeability; the case has a lighting system of its own, controlled by a push-button. This is a most interesting facility in the case of an LCD-equipped watch which,being a “passive” system, cannot otherwise be read in the dark as it only reflects the light it receives.
