Abraham-Louis Perrelet (1729-1826), inventor around 1770 in Le Lode of the seifwinding watch, was doubtless one of the
world’s most gifted watchmakers. Perrelet S.A. will be launching its «Dipteros» model at BASEL 95. The world’s first twinrotor seifwinding wristwatch presents both technical advantages (faster winding and improved rate stability) and aesthetic ones (its rotor can be observed in action with the watch on the wrist). Two product lines presently comprise the 36-model «Dipteros» collection, ranging from steel to jewellery designs.
