Gérald Genta has designed a novel variant on his favourite shape, the octagon, adding a stylish dress watch to his collection. The case’s astute construction allows the buyer to choose from among a great many combinations of 18K gold, steel and two-tone finish. Water-resistant to 30 m and fitted with a sapphire crystal, it can be equipped with a hand-wound, seifwinding or quartz movement. Traditional dial styles are here reinterpreted with «Railway»-type minute circles, Arabic numerals and finely worked hands. Made in four sizes and fitted with a leather strap. From circular-grained crown to centre bracelet attachment, the piece frilly reflects this master watchmaker’s highly personal approach.
