IWC - Portugaise Répétion Minutes

First introduced in 1993 for its 125th anniversary in a limited edition, IWC’s «Portuguese» timepiece, fitted with an original pocket-watch movement, has evolved this year into the fascinating «Minute Repeater Portuguese» watch. With a case that’s a full 42 mm across, combining high style and functional excellence, it embodies IWC’s motto that Big Is Beautiful. The case’s clear sapphire back reveals the watch’s reputed calibre 952 movement. Designed in-house, its repeater mechanism is actioned by a pushpiece and strikes two gongs that sound the hours, quarters and minutes. While this classic timepiece’s platinum series is limited to 50, the collection is being completed by 250 more in pink gold and in yellow gold respectively.
