To usher in the new leap year, Blancpain is presenting a limited series of 29 timepieces combining the complications of an automatic chronograph and a perpetual calendar. 395 pieces have gone into making its automatic movement, which has a 40-hour power reserve. The yellow gold case with screw-in back and pressedon bezel is water-resistant to 30 m. The opaline dial with a centre sun ray zone features a month and year indicator at 12 o’clock, an hour and day counter at 9 o’clock, a minute and date at 3 o’clock and a moon phase window at 6 o’clock. Leaf hands with tritium, a domed sapphire crystal and a 750 (18K) gold bracelet or crocodile strap add further touches of refinement to this exceptional timepiece.
