This new «Mark XII» airman’s watch is equipped with an exceptionally thin seifwinding movement, calibre 884, with centre rotor swinging in either direction. While they were happy to retain the styling of the historical model, the company’s product-development engineers went to great lengths to bring up to contemporary standards the simple mechanical excellence that distinguished the «Mark XI» design. Providing a 45-hour power reserve, the new design shows the hours, minutes, centre seconds and date. Case in matte-finished steel or in gold, waterresistant to 50 m. Inner case shield for reinforced antimagnetic protection. Screw-locked crown. Sapphire crystal with pressure-protection system. Choice of steel or solid gold bracelet or optional leather strap.
