Perfectly typical of the Breitiing style in chronographs, the famed Navitimer initially launched in 1952 has since become the official watch of pilots and aircrews around the world. In keeping with its longstanding product approach, the company has now introduced an updated version, the «Navitimer 1461» - a limited-edition design equipped with a calendar mechanically programmed to provide automatically the day, date, month and phases of the moon during four years, i.e. 1,461 days. It includes a chronograph to 1/5th of a second with 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers along with a circular slide rule inscribed with a logarithmic scale. Water-resistant to 30 m, the new design has been fitted with a cambered sapphire crystal with multi-layered glareproofing front and back. Steel case with sharkskin or genuine alligator strap.
