IWC - Portugaise Automatique

Except for a few short interruptions, the «Portuguese» wristwatch with its pocket-watch movement has been part of the IWC collections since the 1940’s. A smaller version with an automatic movement will be presented at Basel this year. The brand-new 891/2 calibre movement with its 21K gold rotor and oscillating wight can be admired through the transparent caseback. Made of 750 (18K) red gold, this water-resistant watch with a sapphire crystal comes on a hand-stitched leather strap.
