As of April 1985, Mondaine Watch Ltd. is introducing its new “Adam and Eve” M-Watch models in 30 countries. Containing a quartz movement, their multicoloured transparent synthetic cases feature the all-new VPS (Vertical Press System) water-resistant construction achieved by means of a long-lasting elastic gasket and a vertically pressed-in crystal. The system eliminates the need for any metal gasket, provides proven water-resistance and allows practical service and maintenance of the watch. Very economical design. With battery well.
