Longines VHF (Very High Precision) : 5 years of untroubled reliability and perfect accuracy. Its lithium battery has a minimum operational life of 5 years and its rate will vary at most one minute during that same five-year span. Its 32 KHz quartz timebase is monitored by a second “thermometer” quartz vibrating at a rate of 262,144 Hz, which measures the ambient temperature and directly corrects the watch’s rate by means of non volatile correction memories. Steel case clad in a special chrome-nickel-aluminium alloy. Water-resistant down to 30 m. (LONGINES VHP)
