PATEK PHILIPPE-Pagoda BASEL 97
Inspired by a magnificent 1940’s watch from the Patek Philippe museum, the Pagoda collection has a rectangular case requiring 73 different shaping, assembling and polishing operations! This man’s chronometer, equipped with a remarkable calibre 215 PS hand-wound movement with small seconds, is delivered with the very first official rating certificate for movements that have been awarded the Hall-mark of Geneva. This new certificate, issued expressly for Patek Philippe, brings together the Swiss Official Chronometer-Testing Institute (COSC) and the Hall-mark of Geneva for the first time. This white gold model, with a pink gold dial and black crocodile strap, celebrates the opening of the manufacture’s new building. Produced in a limited series of 250, it bears the engraved inscription «Commémoration 1997» on the case back.
