European Watch Clock and Jewellery Fair 1990 BF 202
Exclusive to Ulysse Nardin is this minute repeater watch fitted with a pair of sacks. The dial of this exceptional timepiece features tiny reproductions of jacks on the San Marco clock tower in Venice. They strike hours, quarters and minutes on a bell. The dial itself, made of 18K gold, is overlaid with blue, translucid enamel. To hold the figurines and bell in position on the latter, 32 tiny tubes, only 16 microns in diameter, had to be inserted in the enamel. Every dial takes over 100 hours of work. Only 30 such timepieces will be made. (ULYSSE NARDIN “San Marco - Jaquernarts”)
