European Watch Clock and Jewellery Fair 1990 BF 229
This model features a case that exactly replicates that of one of the first selfwinding writswatches designed by John Harwood in 1926. Even the most critical observer will not fail to appreciate the quality of its 10-micron goldplate, its bezel decor’s stylish lacquer inserts and the flawlessly limpid scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The case’s transparent, mineral-glass back reveals the intricate workings of an accurate seifwinding movement of recent design, assembled and decorated by experienced craft watchmakers. The time is shown by means of a special mechanism that features three independent hands, in the style of the famed “regulator watches” that Paul Jeannin-Bourquin used to assemble around 1860 in his Les Bayards workshop. (NUMA JEANNIN S.A. - “Regulator Watch”)
