European Watch Clock and Jewellery Fair 1979 BF 216
The “Reverso” watch introduced by Jaeger-LeCoultre in 1931 was designed originally to protect the crystal. Its case pivots laterally to position the case back face up, without the watch having to leave the wrist Its attractive styling possibilities explain its revival this year : the 18K gold case can be decorated in countless ways, including an engraved monogram or family crest or even enamelled designs.
