One of the surprises of the 1967 Watch Fair was the unveiling by many (eleven) manufacturers of automatic watches with a 36,000 hourly vibration rate. This substantial increase in frequency allows a very great rate stability. In fact, most models on display were officially certified chronometers. This Ebel model has a stainless steel water-resistant case and a calendar. Silvered or slate-coloured dial. (EBEL “Seven Stars”)
