Breitling’s “Astromat QP” chronograph, fitted with a high-frequency 28,800 v.p.h. selfwinding movement that includes a perpetual calendar, provides a fine example of superbly sophisticated mechanical watchmaking. It features the following functions : totalizers for the seconds, minutes and hours; leap-year, month, day and date indications along with the phases of the moon. A tachymetric scale helps compute speeds. 18K gold case, water-resistant to 50 m, screw-locked crown and two-way rotating bezel with wind rose. Sapphire crystal, glareproofed on both sides.
