Swiss Watch Fair 1964
An entirely new styling conception in women’s watches is launched by Omega at the Swiss Watch Fair, with a whole collection of gold watches. Its main characteristic is the very long attachments holding the watch to the bracelet. These attachments, which turn the watch into a piece of high fashion jewellery are worked in a variety of styles, but always on the basis of a new gold treatment called “native gold”. The example shown here has diamonds worked into the gold and is worn with a matching ring also in native gold with diamonds. (Watch and ring by OMEGA)
