Blancpain - Fifty Fathoms

The first model in the Sea-Land-Sky trilogy, this divers’ watch is reminiscent of the 1956 Fifty Fathoms worn by the divers in Commander Cousteau’s film The World of Silence. At the time, it was one of the first models that was waterresistant to more than 90 m. This model is water-resistant to 300 m. The fine mechanical movement, with its 100-hour power reserve, has been decorated, assembled and finished by hand. Steel case and bracelet; unidirectional bezel with embossed numbers; screw-down back, crown and push-pieces. Ebony black dial with embossed hour markers and numbers. Limited series of 300. Each piece numbered and signed by the watchmaker who finished and regulated it.
