Omega is the official timer for the America’s Cup 2000. In celebration of the event, it has created this watch in collaboration with Sir Peter Blake, captain of the New Zealand team. Water-resistant to 300 meters and fitted with a helium decompression valve, it has a steel case featuring a white gold ring on a unidirectional rotating bezel. The dial bears the logo of the famous race on a wave-pattern ground, and its decorated automatic movement is a certified chronometer (COSC). This model is available in a limited, numbered series of 9,999 pieces.
