Vianney Halter has dedicated to Goldpfeil one of the most ethereal versions of his “Antiqua” concept, characterised by multiple independent dials. The three on this model appear to gravitate around each other in a higher sphere at the top of the slope imposed by the lugs. The largest of them naturally tells the time, while the smaller two transcend conventions — through a geometric display of the moon-phase on the one hand, and on the other by a rather unusual function on a watch: the thermometer. The architecture implies a crown with a long winding-stem, cleverly exploited to set the finishing touch to the design.
This inimitable work of art, so closely linked to the personality of the creator, finds its crowning glory in platinum, the rare and highly resistant metal in which it is crafted. This choice of material perfectly reflects the highly technical nature of the construction, in terms of both the watch exterior and the self-winding movement developed by Vianney Halter on a Lémania base calibre.
