t Munichtime 2018, in addition to an interesting mix of prime watch labels, visitors may expect a varied supporting programme which will offer new aspects every day during the exhibition. It will not only focus on the technical side of watch making but just as well on the entertainment of the visitors.
The topics of time and watches will be looked at from very different perspectives. Talks like “Watches as Potential Investments“,”The History of Wristwatches“,”Time Is Honey – On The Judicious Usage Of Time“ or "Stars and Icons“ will not only provide comprehensive information but also best entertainment with visitors’ favourite topics.
On Friday and Sunday, experts will debate on the reasons why mechanical watches are still very much coveted nowadays and on the innovation and tradition of the Glashütte watch industry at two high quality panel discussions.
The Munichtime is the only watch exhibition for end customers of its kind and size in the German-speaking area. Every year, roughly 10,000 visitors appreciate especially the personal contact with the watch makers who will be present on the premises. Watch lovers from all over Germany can get quite straightforwardly into conversations with the exhibitors.
The show offers an opportunity to get into a direct and personal contact with potential buyers, and this not only to well-known manufacturers but also to new or smaller labels. And at the Munichtime, aficionados may without commitment put their coveted watch on their wrist for a try, which is usually not possible at the big international watch fairs. Thus, the novelties of a label which one had hitherto only seen online may be extensively examined.
