The piece is in near-perfect condition.
- Among the ten clocks that will be featured is LOT 284, a Franco Villacroce Roma 1755 Table Clock in the form of a book, another unique piece in this collection as object shaped clocks are extremely rare. These are painted with white enamel in a ’ronde bosse’ style, with the top part adorned with pink and black flowers, and the lower part decorated with foliage and floral patterns. The watch has a short pendant and loose ring, and the enamel dial is set on a gold plate. The dial features radial Roman chapters on a white enamel ring, with a centre that has translucent red enamel over a flinqué ground.
