he new model reflects this Glashütte-based watch manufacturer’s enthusiasm for self-consistent styling free from angular corners and sharp edges. The surfaces of the chronograph’s large push buttons harmoniously conform to the rounded contours of the case, which has been pressure tested to 20 atm. As a typical M2, the case is made of pure, ultralight, highly resistant titanium. The inlays atop the titanium push buttons are additionally coated with black PVD.
The dial, which is available in matte black or blue, continues the M2’s philosophy of reduction to the essentials. Perfect legibility is achieved by the clear arrangement and linear design of all elements – from the counters for the stopwatch mechanism to the Super-LumiNova coated hands and indexes. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal above the dial minimizes glaring reflections.
In addition to its characteristic robustness, other secrets of the M2’s success are the precision and reliability of all its functions. This new model marks the debut of automatic Tutima Caliber 310 with 48-hour power reserve, date display, hour-, minute- and small second-hand. The chronograph tallies up to 60 elapsed seconds, 30 elapsed minutes and 12 elapsed hours.
This newest member of the M2 family is available with a blue or black dial and a pure titanium bracelet or with a leather strap and stitching in the same colour as the dial. Built to master the toughest challenges: the new M2 Coastline Chronograph from Tutima Glashütte.
