he Aerowatch company, headquartered in Saignelégier, has been owned by the Bolzli family since 2001. It has always upheld its commitment to offering artisanal watchmaking artistry at competitive prices.
This year, the Jura-based brand is celebrating the 110th anniversary of its uninterrupted watch production and is launching an exceptional men’s timepiece for the occasion.
“Les Grandes Classiques – Edition Anniversaire” is a manually skeletonized chronograph. Its contemporary design reveals many elements of its inner life with uniquely aesthetic appeal. This watch embodies a fusion of style and functionality.
The hours and minutes are indicated by blued hands coated with white Super-LumiNova. The jumping seconds hand, also referred to as a trotteuse, as well as the hour- and minute-counter hands are high-contrast red, endowing the chronograph with a sporty personality.
The date hand at 3 o’clock as well as the subsidiary seconds dial at 9 o’clock, emphasize the balanced proportions and symmetry of the watch. The interaction of the wheels adds an energetic touch to the dial, revealing its dynamic characteristics without distracting the owner’s attention with superfluous details. With atisanal skill and in-depth experience, nearly 100 parts were crafted to create the skeletonized dial.
The anniversary watch comes in a satin-finished stainless steel case with a diameter of 44 mm, providing ample space to creatively display the time. The caseband and the satin-finished pushers showcase genuine craftsmanship. The flat Louis XV crown delivers a subtly smooth winding experience.
The antireflective, cambered sapphire crystal reveals the pulsating movement of the high-end anniversary watch; the blued screws and the lavish decorations visible through the caseback please the observer’s eye.
The anniversary chronograph “Les Grandes Classiques – Edition Anniversaire” is available exclusively through Aerowatch points of sale.
