he creation of an “indestructible object” is what motivated Venezianico to associate the Italian design of its Nereide diving watch with a tungsten bezel. It is the same motivation that in 1913 pushed the Italian Royal Navy to the construction of the homonymous submarine, launched in Venice, an engineering pride of those times.

A classic diver with a modern style boasting a 42 mm 316L steel case, the Nereide Tungsteno combines refinement and solidity, attention to detail and elegance on any type of outfit. It recalls its Venetian inspiration with sobriety starting from the cross placed on the dial, which is part of the logo and is inspired by the one standing out on the renaissance Clock Tower in San Marco square.

Under the very sapphire crystal, known for its scratch-resistant properties, the dial proposed for this first launch version is blue with indexes treated with Super-LumiNova. It fits perfectly with the metallic reflections of the polished tungsten bezel, featuring white numerical indicators and set in the unidirectional bezel, essential feature of any dive watch.

The Nereide Tungsteno is equipped with the Swiss Sellita SW200-1 calibre, a self-winding mechanical movement. Its design is completed with the refined “Canova” steel bracelet, inspired by Venetian neoclassical sculpture, which alternates polished, brushed finishes and is fastened by a butterfly clasp. The submarine with the same name is engraved on the back-case of the model.
