s Louis Vuitton celebrates 20 years of watchmaking, the Tambour Street Diver, a diver’s watch with a effortless elegance, welcomes two new fashionable colours. A classic of Louis Vuitton watchmaking, the bright, vivid orange shade ensures easy legibility under water as well as in darkness, while the earthy olive-green hue awakens a longing for adventure.
Unveiled last year, when it was awarded the Diver’s Watch Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, this already iconic model was quick to assert its identity. Its inverted drum shape – an instrument whose beats echo the rhythm of time – offers confident design and self-assured volume to lovers of fine mechanical watches. Carved in a block of steel, it incorporates a self-winding calibre and luminescent indexes. Its screw-down crown ensures water resistance to a depth of 100m, comfortably transitioning from urban escapades to diving adventures. As for its Louis Vuitton-branded rubber strap, it is interchangeable and ready to tackle even the most hectic lifestyles.
