-Boat is expanding its family of Darkmoon timepieces, characterized by the special oil bath in the case that envelops the movement and creates a visual effect of the absence of glass, as well as an amplified three-dimensional view thanks to the compensating bubble that is free to float on the dial.
The brand anticipates its participation to the Watches & Wonders fair in Geneva with three new models, declined with a satin steel and black PVD treated case, reduced in size to 40mm, and with new colour variations. Six new references are accompanied by a 40mm version with a IP Bronze treated bronze case.
The first model of this “preview” is the 40mm version, in two types of case, of the acclaimed red glass and black dial model originally presented in a 44mm size. This is accompanied by two models with sunray dials, characterized by green and coral red color nuances that fade from the center towards a full black, in contrast with beige-colored spheres, numbers, and indices treated with luminova, and with a black vulcanized rubber strap.
Completing this new selection of Darkmoon 40mm is a watch with a bronze case and a full black dial, also with numbers, index, and spheres in beige color contrast, treated with luminova, and with a laser-etched, aged brown calfskin strap, handcrafted with Tuscan tanning techniques.
