ince 1940, the year when the first model was presented, Extra-fort has known a particular fortune: over the years, it has been interpreted by the Maison in numerous versions and is one of Eberhard & Co.’s most popular and enduring collections.
Today, Extra-fort in the vitré version is presented with all-new dial proposals.
Featuring a steel case with a diameter of 39 mm, this timepiece preserves the unique charm of the “classic” Extra-fort chronograph, with its refined design and elegant Dauphine-type hands. The dial displays a sophisticated interplay of concentric patterns, alternating between the frappé execution with vertical lines and the azurée finish of the hour band, which is also found on the two counters.
The new dials are proposed in particularly elegant shades that, when combined with the richly detailed dial, create interesting chromatic effects. These range from the sophisticated argenté version with argenté counters, to the eye-catching argenté version with black counters, to the distinctive model with argenté counters and a light blue dial, a delicate and extremely fashionable tone.
The caseback in sapphire glass reveals the oscillating mass with pearl-finish characterised by an exclusive coiffe, which houses the bearing of the rotor, fixed by two blue screws and personalised by the Maison’s emblem, the Shield, enclosing the “E”.
