Horage introduces the Autark K2 Small Seconds

This new model is the next watch in the Swiss brand’s Mission Independence series. A refined sports watch through and through, it is equipped with the in-house COSC-certified K2 micro-rotor.

n 2023 Horage announced its roadmap “Mission Independence”. And in 2024 the brand continues this project with the next watch in the Mission Independence series: the all new Autark K2 Small Seconds.

Community is at the core of Horage and without a positive community of enthusiasts taking part in its projects, the brand would not be here today. For its battle to keep its independence, whether it be in the industry or from investors, the only true consistent contributor is its community of supporters.

Autark is German for “independence” and “self-sufficiency”, and with the Autark Tourbillon project well underway, a K2 micro-rotor equipped version seemed a natural fit to this range. There’s strength and endurance with 72 hours of power reserve with one of the most efficient winding rotors in the industry, the K2 is a benchmark for modern movement engineering.

The Autark K2 Small Seconds is available with two different dial colours, Salmon for the more traditional look and Gradient Grey for an undertoned vibe. Both feature rhodium silver lume filled appliqués and a gold plated tungsten micro-rotor.

In common with all previous K1 powered Horage Autark timepieces, the case of the all new Autark K2 Small Seconds is Grade 5 titanium. A polished bezel complements the otherwise vertical brushing for a sporty and sophisticated aesthetic, which is only enhanced by the custom integrated three-link bracelet with our ultra-low profile micro-adjusting clasp.

A refined sports watch through and through. Full crown guards and water resistance of 100 meters add protection and ruggedness for outdoor adventures, while the sapphire exhibition case back displays the brand’s in-house K2 micro-rotor caliber.

The COSC-certified K2 micro-rotor has become a mainstay calibre and is the most attainable in-house Swiss micro-rotor in the industry, featuring a gold plated tungsten rotor and a vertical brushing that matches the case.

Adding to the resiliency and reliability are an anti-magnetic silicon escapement and hairspring, which is a rare combination for an independent watchmaker.

The Autark K2 Small Seconds will be available for pre-order at www.horage.com, priced at 4,500 CHF (inclusive of tax, duties & shipping). Orders will ship in Summer 2024 as each piece is made to order.

The on-stock retail price will be 5,250 CHF (inclusive of tax, duties & shipping).
