haosify has been designed exclusively for the independent watch brand by Brighton-based illustrator, artist and muralist Mister Phil.

For the first time in the brand’s history, this limited edition watch was made available to buy within a 12-hour window only. The decision was made to accommodate customers in different time zones as the brand’s limited editions often sell out quickly.

Mister Phil’s colourful and chaotic design, which features a collection of illustrated characters, conceals the time within its wild geometry. To read the time, the wearer must focus on the white elements.

The white arrow points to the hours, the white bird marks the minutes and the seconds can be seen in the all-seeing eye at the centre of the design.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the design, Mister Phil said: “There’s always ordered chaos in my work. The lively, disruptive characters are usually held together by a sense of logic, albeit one that’s not obvious at first glance.

“So finding characters and shapes adorning a watch face seems quite fitting - everything is confined by a circular shape and the rules of timekeeping. You sense the characters within want to break free but are patiently rotating on their given paths, revealing different patterns and positions as they go about the day in their predestined way.”

Mister Phil is an illustrator and artist whose vibrant, doodle style has seen him work for a vast number of clients such as Fender, Unity, Tumblr, CIROC Vodka, Vitaminwater, The National Gallery and many more.

His work has appeared on all canvasses including giant sculptures, wall murals and vodka bottles to name a few. Mister Phil’s fun-filled images add life to brands, clothing and large-scale installations. All of his work starts as a pen drawing and before it’s vectorised and coloured digitally.
