ollowing the launch of the 1969 Collection in June 2023, Singer unveils four new additions, which will expand the brand’s 40mm permanent collection. The very first 1969 Collection included the Chronograph Ref. SR201 and the Timer Ref. SR301, both of which were housed in stainless-steel cases and came with matching stainless-steel bracelets and black lacquered dials.
Today, the new references are joining the line with two new models in stainless steel with sun-brushed silver-coloured dials, and two others with bronze cases and velvety matt green dials. All four pieces are inspired by the brand’s revolutionary spirit of discovery that is synonymous with the year 1969.
The 1969 Chronograph is the quintessential expression of Singer Reimagined high-watchmaking approach, featuring the most recent version of the famous Agengraphe caliber. The groundbreaking AgenGraphe’s design offers a time display with a enhanced readability of the 60 hours chronograph function, taking central stage on the dial. All of this condensed to only 40mm. The 1969 Timer represents the ultimate example of complexity distilled to its purest form. An intricate zero-reset system combined with a flyback device is the hidden technical gem behind this three-hands timepiece. A simple push of the button at 2 o’clock allows for lightning fast elapsed-time measurement using the central second hand of your watch.
The first two references, Chronograph ref. SR201-S and Timer ref. SR301-S, combine sun-brushed silver-coloured dials with Singer’s bespoke stainless-steel case and bracelet. The models pair technical excellence with Singer’s signature style, offering a unique design that is both contemporary and classic. Given their unisex size, both models look great on both feminine and masculine wrists.
The crisp aesthetic of the silver-coloured dials with their matching tone-on-tone cases amplifies the elegance and charm of the Collection. The sunray brushed finish of the dial creates a play on light that seamlessly blends with the finish of the stainless steel case. This harmonious combination of silver/gray tones tells the story of the timeless aesthetic of the 1969 era. This special dial colour is also a tribute to the very first and highly sought-after Track1 Launch Edition, the 2017 Limited Edition timepiece that started the whole Singer Reimagined saga.
